Questions, answered with the evidence available

This FAQ answers the most common Neon+ questions using the verified company, V6, warranty, delivery and location information available for this build. Where prices or terms can change, it tells buyers to confirm them. Where source material conflicts or no evidence exists, the answer says so instead of turning an assumption into a product promise.

Range

What does Neon+ sell?

Neon+ is presented as a Malaysian brand for smart and portable digital projectors used in education and everyday settings. The dated range record includes Q1, C2000, K5, V8, V6, X5 and X5 Plus. Only the V6 currently has a full verified specification on this site, so buyers should request the exact current sheet for any other model.

Ask for the exact model name and current specification sheet, then place any dated price beside that same model. The range record is useful for orientation, but a purchase comparison needs model-specific evidence for power, image, connections, accessories and service terms. Use the selection guide →

What are the verified V6 image specifications?

The V6 native resolution is 1280 × 800 and its stated brightness is 600 ANSI lumens. It uses Texas Instruments DLP with an Osram RGB-LED light source. Those facts describe the unit, while the viewed result also depends on ambient light, image size, surface and placement. Test typical content in the intended room.

During a demonstration, keep image size, room light, source device and content consistent. View small text and fine diagrams from the back of the room. This turns the native resolution and brightness figures into an observation tied to the intended setup. Read the V6 specification →

V6

Does the V6 have a built-in battery?

No. The verified V6 specification states that it has no built-in battery and uses a 19V / 3.42A DC power adapter. Treat portability as the movement of the complete kit, including adapter and cables. Other Neon+ models must be checked separately because product details should not be copied from one model to another.

Plan the power point, adapter position and cable route before treating the unit as portable. Handle the projector together with its working kit and confirm that the expected room always has safe access to power. Battery details for another Neon+ model do not apply to the V6. Check V6 power →

Which connections are listed for the V6?

The V6 lists 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, Ethernet and TF-card support up to 32 GB. A port list does not prove every app, adapter, file or protected service will work. Test the exact source device, network and content path needed for daily use.

List each source device, adapter, network and audio destination. Test them as one chain using normal content. If wireless casting is important, repeat the test on the network and device types that will be used, with a wired fallback recorded for time-sensitive sessions. Check V6 connections →

Ownership

What is the stated warranty?

Neon+ states a 365-day local warranty from purchase for manufacturing defects, with one-to-one replacement for product faults in warranty. Customers bear postal cost for warranty returns, and negligence, mishandling and misuse are excluded. Ask for the current written terms and keep them with the purchase record.

Keep the invoice, model, purchase date and written warranty together. Before sending a unit, ask how the fault will be assessed, where it should go and which postal costs apply. Record the condition of the unit and the troubleshooting already completed. Read the support terms →

Is there a refund promise?

This site does not publish a refund promise. The available records contain conflicting wording about refunds, so no refund claim is presented until Neon+ resolves it. A buyer should ask the team for the current written sale, exchange and refund terms before purchasing and retain the version supplied with the invoice.

Request the current sale, exchange and refund wording in one written document. If an older page or message differs, ask Neon+ to identify which version governs the purchase. Do this before payment, because an unresolved source conflict should not be settled through an assumption. Ask Neon+ for current terms →

Visits

Where can I visit Neon+?

The headquarters and showroom is listed at 46, Jalan Lang Indah A/1, Pusat Perniagaan Lang Indah, Ipoh, Perak. Kota Kinabalu is listed as a branch, while Sibu is expansion in progress. Confirm opening and appointment availability before travelling, especially because the source material does not provide a verified Sibu opening.

Use the phone or email to confirm the destination, opening hours and whether an appointment is needed. The Ipoh location is the verified address in this build; Kota Kinabalu is named as a branch, and Sibu remains described as expansion in progress. Confirm a showroom visit →

What are the published contact hours?

The supplied hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Contact Neon+ at +60 12-565 2091 or info@neonplus.com.my. Public hours can change, so confirm availability before a showroom visit or when arranging a time-sensitive support handover.

Include the reason for contacting the team so the right person can respond. For a showroom visit, bring the room brief and source device. For support, include the model, purchase date, observed fault and tests completed, while avoiding unnecessary personal information. Use the verified contact routes →

Decision

Are the prices current?

The prices in the source were captured in August 2026. They are dated reference points and should be confirmed before purchase. The V6 was listed at RM3,800 at capture, while other models occupied different price points. Ask for a current quote, exact model name, specification sheet, stock status and included accessories.

A comparable quote should identify the model, included accessories, delivery, warranty and any financing conditions. Keep the quote date. If price is a deciding factor, ask when the quote expires and whether stock is confirmed rather than treating the August capture as an offer. Request a current quote →

How should I choose a projector?

Begin with wall size, room light, throw distance, viewing positions, power access and source devices. Then compare native resolution, brightness, connections, weight and service terms. Bring representative text, diagrams and video to a demonstration. This makes it possible to judge a projector against the real room rather than a generic promotional setup.

Finish with a short written comparison: room fit, image result, source compatibility, complete-kit portability, current price and support path. Mark any unresolved point and who will answer it. This gives the buyer a decision record that can be checked later. Open the selection guide →
